 The TVR Sagaris is a unique sports car constructed by TVR in Lancashire and it has captured the imaginations of many motorists, the Sagaris is such a unique looking vehicle that one cannot fail to be impressed by the sleek lines and stunning shape that the vehicle cuts along the road. The TVR Sagaris was a brand new design that was first featured at the MPH03 Auto Show in 2003 and it was also demonstrated in 2004 at the Birmingham Motor Show. The actual production version of the TVR Sagaris did not see the light of day for another twelve months before it was finally released to the general public in various dealerships across the planet.
The TVR Sagaris draws heavily from the previous T350 vehicle from the same company, however the Sagaris was designed by TVR to be utilised in endurance racing and as such there are a number of fixtures and fittings that make the vehicle for racing. Thanks to the hefty nature of the cooling ducts and vents the Sagaris is good to go from the start and requires no alterations to race in exceptionally long competitions. Like all TVR vehicles produced in recent years the Sagaris has no ABS and front airbags because the company believes that they promote overconfidence resulting in an increased risk of rolling the vehicle, something that all TVR's are designed to resist anyway.
The Sagaris is also a true drivers car with no traction or stability control being included. The straight six engine that powers the TVR Sagaris is of the 4.0 litre variety and can output 380 bhp. The five speed manual gearbox is precisely tuned to give excellent control and front and rear independent double wishbone suspension ensures the ride is comfortable whilst still being tactile.
