The MG F and TF are a series of mid engined British sports cars that have been in production between 1995 and 2011. MG have been through many trying times over the years but the MG F and TF remain as examples of just how good small British sports cars can be when all of the kinks are worked out of the design. When the F/TF was first announced it took the world by storm, MG had ceased producing sporty vehicles in 1980, so their apparent return to form and to doing what they became famous for excited motorists everywhere.

Unfortunately MG Rover hit difficult times in 2005 and production was suspended, much to the dismay of many. Fortunately the Nanjing Automobile Group purchased MG and production resumed a few short years later and it was not until 2011 that the line was eventually discontinued. One of the main charms of the MG F/TF was it's affordability, the design was light and featured a relatively small engine that offered excellent performance and reliability along with relatively good economy. Anyone could purchase an MG TF, and many did and the vehicle was one of the best selling small sports cars in modern times.

Aesthetically there is little difference between the F and the TF so our car covers will fit both vehicles, however "under the skin" MG completely re-engineered the F into the TF to produce something even more special. At the time of writing a new version or completely new vehicle is rumoured to be in the works for a 2013 release. Here at Just Car Covers we're big fans of the MG F and TF and we hope that the line continues well into the future as it is an important British modern motoring icon that deserves far more attention than it gets.
