Mazda RX-8 Waterproof Half Covers
 The Mazda RX-8, along with the MX-5, is probably one of the most successful modern vehicles produced by the company and like it's smaller roadster sibling it has almost become a household name loved by motoring enthusiasts and normal drivers alike. The RX-8 was first launched in the early 2000's as a direct replacement for the aging RX-7 and it is, of course, powered by a Wankel rotary engine. The Mazda RX-8 builds on the success of other rotary engined cars from Mazda and in particular previous vehicles of the RX series; the public are now fully aware of the capabilities of the rotary engine and Mazda have capitalised on this by emphasising how reliable and powerful for its size the RX-8 actually is.
The RX-8 has reviewed overall excellent reviews from both peers and expert reviewers, and Mazda have often taken on board criticism to update the vehicle throughout its life. It is unnerving the think that the Mazda RX-8 was mired in development hell for six years and almost never saw the light of day; the RX-01 concept powered by the 13B-MSP engine served as the impetus and driving force behind what we would eventually know as the RX-8. Many engineers and technicians believed in the Mazda RX-8 project that they kept it alive on the backburner for many years until it was finally approved by Mazda executives and entered production at the companies plant in Hiroshima.
One thing that seperates the Mazda RX-8 from previous sports vehicles is that it actually features for full sized seats with leg room to match. They are roomy and comfortable and Mazda spent much time and effort researching ways to maximise internal space in the vehicle in order to make it seat for adults comfortably. Like the RX-7 the Mazda RX-8 features a front mid engine mounted behind the front axle ensuring that weight distribution is as near to perfect as possible, and after production each vehicle is carefully trimmed before being sold. The RX-8 does not match the RX-7 in terms of raw performance but it more than matches it in space and comfort with the Mazda RX-8 being very will appointed and finished inside.
