The Mazda Axela is designed around the Mazda built C1 platform that was later adopted by Ford and Volvo for a number of vehicles, and the Axela itself is available in a variety of different variants such as a four door coupe and a five door hatchback. The Axela comes with a tremendous variety of features; Mazda have included ABS and disc brakes along with a choice of wheel sizes. In 2008 Mazda gave the Axela a redesign with a variety of new styling options being made available for buyers. It is now possible to choose from a choice of five speed manual or four speed automatic gearboxes.
