Ford Galaxy Lightweight Breathable Car Cover
 The Ford Galaxy is one of the most popular vehicles produced by Ford and it's roomy interior, folding seats and space for the whole family plus luggage has ensured it has continued to sell very well since its introduction. Initially the Galaxy was a joint project between Ford, Volkswagen and SEAT who all felt that they were falling behind Renault and the popular Espace. This union of companies and ideas resulted in the Galaxy and it was also sold under the other companies as the Sharan and the Alhambra. Much of the engineering and technical know-how for the first model of the Ford Galaxy came from VW, however Ford did supply a pair of different engines for the Galaxy.
In 2000 the Galaxy was redesigned in a large way by Ford and its partner companies in order to ensure that the car was unique and distinct from competitor cars in a market that was becoming saturated by this kind of vehicle. The exterior of the car was very much from the Ford stable, however the interior of the Galaxy was a true fusion of ideas that was crafted from much higher quality materials than was used in the previous model. New engine choices were also made available on the 2000 edition of the Ford Galaxy and the gearboxes were changed to suit these newer engines.
In 2006 Ford launched their own unique home built version of the Galaxy at the Geneva Motor Show alongside the slightly smaller S-Max. Thanks to the introduction of the S-Max Ford were able to make the Galaxy even larger and the interior of this new version of the vehicle is more comfortable, spacious and luxurious than what was previously available. Now that Ford were designing the Galaxy themselves it allowed them to utilise their new "kinetic design" style in order to bring it more into line with other vehicles produced by the company. Various engine sizes are available and the car has now adopted the standard varying levels of Ford trim that are available on their cars.
