Ford Fusion Lightweight Breathable Car Cover
 Since 2002 the unique and intriguing Ford Fusion has graced the roads of Europe. The Ford Fusion is essentially a modified Fiesta supermini however it has been altered in such a way as to maximise space by increasing various dimensions. There is actually a US version of the Ford Fusion but it is a mid sized family car that bears no relation to its European sibling. In this new vehicle Ford had attempted to define a whole new type of car that they phrased the "Urban Activity Vehicle" (often shortened to UAV). The Fusion is aptly as it takes the attributes of both a small hatchback and an MPV or SUV and combines them into one package.
This was one of the first times that a major manufacturer had tried to fuse two very different car styles together and when the Fusion is examined alongside the popular Ford Fiesta it is easy to appreciate just how different the two vehicles actually are. The former is much larger and roomier inside thanks to various increased dimensions and a result of this is that taller individuals are now much more comfortable behind the wheel. Ford also sell an Ecosport version of the car that has been specially modified for off-roading thanks to new wheels, bumpers and suspension. As of 2009 this version is only available in South America.
Despite the obvious attractions of the vehicle some critics did not receive the Ford Fusion well when it was first released; many cite a distinct lack of identity and the fact that it falls between two classes of vehicle and henceforth is not good at any one thing. Despite this the Fusion has continued to sell well thanks to various updates throughout its life. The most recent update took place in 2005 when Ford updated the Fusion with a new exterior complete with new bumpers, headlights and a slightly restyled body. The interior was also updated with many customer complaints being addressed such as the cheap feel of the dashboard and the cluttered instrument layout. New technologies were also incorporated into the design such as automatic windscreen wipers, automatic headlights and Bluetooth.
