Ford Fusion Heavy Duty Waterproof Car Covers
 The Ford Fusion is a modified version of the popular Fiesta supermini class vehicle and it has been marketed and sold since 2002. The US version differs from the European version; the former is a mid sized family vehicle that was launched in 2006 and as yet has not been exported. With the European version of the Fusion Ford have attempted to create a new class of vehicle, what they are calling a "UAV" or "Urban Activity Vehicle". In essence this is a Fusion (hence the name) of the small hatchback and the MPV/SUV class vehicles that Ford also produce.
The design of the Ford Fusion is somewhat unique due to this marrying of different concepts into the one car and it is easy to see both elements of estate cars and MPV's in the design. When compared to the Fiesta the Ford Fusion stands taller and chunkier and has a much more commanding presence, a result of this is that it is also much more spacious and comfortable inside for larger people. There is also an "Ecosport" version of the Ford Fusion sold in South America that comes complete with an even bigger ride height, specialist suspension designed for off roading and much larger wheels. Some critics have not responded favourably to the Ford Fusion and have criticised its lack of identity, claiming that it becomes something of a jack of all trades and a master of none.
In 2005 Ford unveiled a new updated version of the Fusion that featured a number of changes separating it from the previous model. These include new subtle styling changes such as new headlights and bumpers, and new sculpting on the sides of the vehicle. More colour options were also made available for people to choose from when purchasing. The interior was also re-styled with a new dashboard made from higher quality materials and new instruments laid out in a more user friendly manner. Ford also took the opportunity to update the technology of the Fusion by adding electronically powered folding mirrors, automatic wipers and headlights, Bluetooth phone compatibility, mp3 player compatibility and a new ESP (Electronic Stability Program). Despite some unfavourable reviews sales of the Ford Fusion have been high with the vehicle appealing to a large number of buyers.
