Ferrari 330 Heavy Duty Waterproof Car Covers

The Ferrari 330 was introduced in 1963 to replace the popular 250, and originally it was known as the "330 America" and was a 250 GT/E that Ferrari had updated with a bigger engine. The only Ferrari 330 that proved to be totally unique and a new design was the GT 2+2 model that ran until 1968 when it was replaced by the 365. The Ferrari 330 in all of its various guises were powered by a Colombo V12 4.0 litre engine, however wider boring and a new alternator upgraded the engine somewhat and allowed it to produce more power and be more powerful than the same engine used in previous vehicles. The original "America" upgrade version of the Ferrari 330 was popular, with over 50,000 units being sold before it was discontinued.

The Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 model featured very different stylings to the 250 that it replaced. The front and back of the vehicle were more sharper and angular, and new headlights and a new grille gave the 330 GT 2+2 a much more aggressive aesthetic that was praised by critics and motoring enthusiasts. The handling of this version of the Ferrari 330 was also exceptional thanks to adjustable shocks and more modern brakes. Like other Ferrari's of the time the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 model also featured a number of optional extras including air conditioning and power steering in order to make the vehicle more appealing to those would be using it every day.

There was also a GTC and GTS model of the 330 that Ferrari developed directly from the 275 that they replaced. They were short wheelbase vehicles with independent rear suspension and were 2 seat coupes that proved exceptionally popular. The GTC was first unveiled by Ferrari in 1966, whilst the GTS followed two years later in 1968 and featured a spider styling. There were a small number of specialist 330 Le Mans versions that were fitted with a more powerful engine, and Ferrari also produced four mid engined racing cars based on the 330 in the 1960's.
