The Porsche Cayman is a response to the success of the Porsche Boxster. Released first in 2006, the car has taken the designs of the Boxster and included a hard-top roof into the design. The Cayman has improved on the Boxster in the capacity of the boot, as here it is a large hatchback with ample storage.
As second generation of the sports cars are in production which will offer an extra 20 horse power. With the addition of a new PDK 7 speed gear box the performance of the new generation will be second to none.
As with all Porsche sports cars there are limited edition Cayman’s available. The Design Edition 1 celebrated the 35th anniversary of Porsche Design. For this, 777 Cayman S models were produced for 2008. These also came with a selection of limited edition accessories in a complimentary briefcase. The Cayman S Sport is also a new addition to the fleet and is available, along with traditional colours, in Signal Green and Bright Orange in respect to the Porsche GT RS.
