The Aston Martin Lagonda, a name that inspires "love" or "hate" reactions with seemingly nothing in between! No matter what your opinions you can find your car covers here. The luxurious four door saloon may seem rather sedate compared to the more sporty coupes and convertibles that the company is famous for however it is a vital part of the history of Aston Martin and as such is of interest to many enthusiasts, collectors and motoring fanatics the world over.  We sell many car covers for the luxury saloon that is the Lagonda. This vehicle was offered for sale between the years of 1976 and 1989 and it was constructed at a time when the company was finding themselves in considerable financial difficulties, at once stage Aston Martin were even considering closing down their operations completely. As a last effort they decided to offer a different vehicle compared to the type that they normally produce and the Lagonda was born. The change from 2+2 sports cars (that we also provide car covers for) proved to be a sensible idea as the Aston Martin Lagonda was a runaway success immediately selling very well and allowing the company to begin to accumulate funds again and commence work on new projects.
William Towns is the gentleman responsible for the design of the Lagonda, something that divides opinion to this day. Many consider it the finest vehicle Aston Martin has ever created, others find it (quite frankly) shocking and do not appreciate the design at all. When it was produced the Aston Martin Lagonda was one of the most expensive cars in the world and gained a reputation as a vehicle for those who enjoy the height of luxury. The Lagonda is important because as well as helping Aston Martin out financially a number of new technologies were implemented such as a completely digital dashboard complete with red LED illumination. This was later upgraded to an even more hi-tech cathode ray tube display in front of the driver.
